Scheduling Appointments:

Sessions are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Scheduling ahead gives you a greater opportunity to get the appointment time you desire.

Payment:

All appointments are held with a credit or debit card. Nothing is charged to your card until the day of your session. If you are seeing Kim in person and chose to pay using another method your card will not be charged.

All Sessions and classes are paid either in advance or at the time of the session or first class. For the client’s protection, Kim does not carry balances, in order to avoid confusion or mishaps.

NOTE: Purchase of session packages is final! Once you purchase a package offer you cannot change your selection to a different package. Sorry – no refunds on these special pricing offers.

Cancellations:

Kim requires twenty four notice of cancellation of an appointment. Payment is required for appointment cancellations made less than twenty four hours of scheduled appointment time.

No Call/No Show:

In the rare event a client does not call or show for their scheduled time, payment for the missed session and the advance payment for the next session is required. Kim only allows for one missed appointment of this nature. If a client is a no call no show twice they have voided the opportunity for future sessions.

Trades:

Kim does not participate in ‘trades’ for her time and services. It is her experience this practice tends to blur the lines of professionalism.

Answering Email:

Email is checked as Kim’s schedule allows. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response.

Voice Mail:

Kim’s voice mail is checked throughout the day. Your call will be returned either by her or an assistant as soon as possible. Messages left over the weekend or in the evening will not be returned until the following business day.

Questions outside of a session:

In order to maintain the integrity of the information received during a session Kim does not answer questions outside of your scheduled appointment time.

 

Workshop Policies

Enrollment

Registration is first come first serve basis and is open until five days prior to the scheduled event or until space is filled. To reserve your spot, fill out the registration form on the website or contact Kim. Payment in full is due at the time of registration.

Waiting List

If a workshop is full you will be placed on the waiting list.  There is no charge to be on the waiting list. If space becomes available, you will be contacted via phone. You then have 24 hours to register before we move on to the next person.

Cancellation Policy

We recognize that cancellations are sometimes necessary. For cancellations made more than15 days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 to 6 days prior to the event receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 5 days or less result in forfeiture of your workshop fee.

Refunds

Fees which qualify for full or partial refund will be processed within five business days.

Cancellation of the Workshop

Rarely, a workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, instructor illness, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. You will be notified if a workshop for which you have registered has been cancelled. Upon cancellation, partcipants will have the option of carrying the fee over to the rescheduled date or request a refund. You may then register in another workshop (based on availability) or receive a full refund of the fee. Kim is not responsible for losses incurred on housing, travel or other arrangements.

If the workshop is cancelled due to extreme weather (such as storm warnings for the general area from the weather bureau) you will be notified by phone. If you choose not to attend a scheduled workshop due to inclement weather (such as moderate rain/snow) your fee is not refundable.

Transfer of fees

Fees are transferrable only to other scheduled workshops and may not be applied to other services offered by Kim Duggan. Workshop fees or balances are transferrable when requested 6 or more days prior to the one you are currently registred. You may also transfer a fee if the workshop you have registered for is cancelled.
